Wondering how durable the grommets are, my boyfriends current belt is missing grommets, will they last??

I have had mine for over 10 years now and it still looks almost like new. No missing grommets or broken parts. It\'s a very sturdy belt and well worth the price.

Is the buckle removable?

No, it is riveted in place. A standard buckle would not work on this belt. The buckle it comes with is a really sturdy buckle and looks good on the belt though.

i am a size 38/40 waist, can someone help me with the size i should order? the current grommet belt i have measures 49\" from the tip of the belt to buckle

I am in between a 38 and 40 jeans and the XXL works great for me. Depending on how tight I put the belt I have 3-4 sets of grommets extra at the end.
