I have already had this exact same pair of boots for about 14 years. I bought them in Chicago originally and have had them on stage for so many shows as well as general ass kicking shenanigans all over the world. They have held up extremely well and I have had nothing but the greatest compliments. I finally lost my current pair in my last move from the west coast to the east coast and was relieved to find them here. For me, these boots are like my man bra - meaning, they are a necessary part of my wardrobe and I would feel rather dumpy and useless without them. If you are looking for an excellent boot (and aren't some picky little whiner about everything in life) these will serve you well!!

I bought these about a year ago as an un-birthday present to myself. They are zippered, though the zippers go under the straps of the buckles; the part with the padding and straps/spikes is entirely removable, so you get a double-duty with these ass kickers. It would have been nice if these were available in genuine leather, though after a year with them the PU is holding up just fine. Easy to clean, fun to wear.
