So I will say if you're at the cusp between small and medium or medium and large in normal clothes, go a size up in this belt. I typically wear an extra small top and I was worried this belt wouldn't actually close around me. The first time you put it on, it will be tight. However, it will stretch out just a bit to perfectly fit you so it's really great for defining your shape! The quality on this belt is superb and it is both super comfortable and really stylish. Additional information: The buckles are for decoration only - you can't adjust the size of the belt with them. The belt zips in the back. There is plastic boning in this belt to help emphasize your shape.
